Joe & The Juice

When visiting London last December we discovered Joe & The Juice, not knowing at the time that you can find this juice bar in several countries throughout Europe. Joe & The Juice is not just another Juice Bar. The inside of the store is dark and edgy, which gives it cool underground vibes, like sitting in a dark, underground rave bar (except you’re drinking juice instead of beer). They get extra credit for the fantastic names on the menu like ‘Hangover Heaven’ and ‘Go away Doc’. Ánd they serve super healthy salads and sandwiches.

UNIQLO

The Japanese textile company UNIQLO is quickly becoming New York’s hottest retailer. Be sure to pay a visit to the brand’s flagship store in Soho to stock up on your favorite basics. Every (basic) garment you could possibly need can be found here and they are all made from the most huggable fabrics such as cashmere and merino wool. The best part is that it’s SO cheap that you can’t leave the store without at least one item. You can get a basic V-neck cashmere sweater for as little as $89,50 or a longsleeve natural skin T-shirt for only $12,90. With all those neat piles of colorful and touchable items, you’ll feel like a kid in a candy store! The good thing is that you don’t necessarily have to make the trip to one of the 3 New York stores since UNIQLO is also coloring the streets of London, Paris, Moscow as well as many Asian countries.

Clos Maggiore

For a true fairytale dining experience you take your loved one(s) to Clos Maggiore. This French fantasy just off Covent Garden’s busy square serves magical food and a very very extensive wine selection. In fact, the wine list is presented in an encyclopedia-sized book that every magician would envy!  Where’s the magic? – You’ll find it in the courtyard conservatory with its enchanting forest and starry sky. The crackling fire, dimmed lights and quietness create a warm and intimate atmosphere. Only bring your date here if you’re serious about him or her – this restaurant works like a love spell! Don’t forget to request for a table in the conservatory when making a reservation.

Bocca di Lupo

Very fine Italian cuisine in the heart of Soho, London. In the midst of the theatre district, only one street behind Shaftesbury avenue, you’ll find Bocca di Lupo, an Italian restaurant recommended by Londoners who enjoy a good Italian meal. The interior is simple. But special curtains or great art on the wall is redundant. With homemade gelati, breads, sausages, salame, pickles, mostarda, pasta and a weekly changing menu, this is a big success anyway. Ready to go watch the master chefs at work? Have a seat at the bar!
